Welcome to Friday once again. We are up to our ears in movie news this week so read on to find out what you may have missed in the world of film this week.
Avengers Cast In Tough Negotiations For Salary
Iron Man 3 is out and Captain America and Thor will be released soon. Nothing left to do now but start working on Avengers 2, right? Not so fast! Apparently the cast is not so happy with their pay and are all working on renegotiating their contracts. Reports around the internet are saying that Robert Downy Jr., easily the highest paid of the group, is leading the rest of the cast in negotiations for a higher salary going into the next phase of the Avengers. I would not be too surprised if Marvel, which has shown that it is not afraid to drop actors for cheaper alternatives, chose to end Downy's stint as Iron Man, killing off the character, and moving forward with some new characters. This would leave them more money with which to negotiate with Chris Hemsworth and company while allowing them to dedicate more screen time to new characters; something they are planning to do anyway.
As Promised: The Ender's Game Trailer
Last week we were told it was coming and on Tuesday it dropped. The new trailer for the film adaptation of Orson Scott Card's novel Ender's Game is here. Check it out!
