There was just too many good ones to choose from this week so you get four news bits instead of three! Read on to catch up with what's new in movie news!
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
While not technically movie news, Marvel's upcoming TV show ties in heavily with their cinematic universe so it's worth a mention. Earlier in the week, a full promo for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hit the web showing that, indeed, Agent Phil Coulsen is alive, somehow, and still helping S.H.I.E.L.D. round up extraordinary individuals. Check out the promo below. What do you think?
DC and the CW Redeveloping "Amazon", a Wonder Woman Prequel
Continuing our TV talk, news has surfaced that DC and the CW are currently working hard to get Wonder Woman on the small screen. After ABC filmed a notoriously bad pilot a while back, the CW has planned to take on the Amazon princess in much the same way as they did with Superman and Green Arrow. It will be very interesting to see if whatever Wonder Woman show we get on television ties in to the upcoming Cinematic Universe DC is building.
An Unnamed Pixar Sequel is in Development
Its been confirmed that Finding Nemo is getting a sequel called finding Dory. But now we have word that another beloved Pixar movie is getting the sequel treatment. However they have been less than forthcoming about what the movie is. My heart wants an Incredibles 2, but my head says it's more likely a Cars 3 or another Toy Story. Time will tell!
Christopher Nolan Reportedly Approached for the Next Bond Film
Last but not least, the big news today was that Christopher Nolan, a lifelong James Bond fan, has reportedly been approached to direct the next 007 movie. Not much else is known but I'm highly hopeful that this is real. How awesome would this be!?
