Friday Movie News Recap - Nemo, Turtles and Trailers!

Hello everyone! Congratulations on making it to Friday. It's been a tough one, but we made it together.

In your push to get to Friday there are a few movie news tidbits you may have missed. But hey, why are we here if not to help you out with that? Check out what's happened this week below:

Finding Nemo Gets Its Sequel

It's been ten years since Disney/Pixar's super mega hit Finding Nemo. Finally, after years of fans demanding it, we finally got the news: a sequel is on its way! Titled Finding Dory, the follow-up will be about - you guessed it - finding Dory, voiced once again by Ellen Degeneres. The film is currently planned for a 2015 releasee.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Reboot Begins Filming

Yesterday, there was a disturbance in the Force. As if millions of twenty-somethings suddenly cried out in terror as their childhood was again blown up by Michael Bay. Filming for Ninja Turtles, the Michael Bay produced and Jonathan Liebesman directed reboot of all our childhood memories began shooting Thursday in Wantagh, NY. Am I being hard on this one? You can be the judge of that. But before you judge me, I have five words for you: Megan Fox as April O'Neil. Yeah, that's happening.

New Trailers

We were treated to two trailers yesterday including Baz Lurhman's adaptation of one of my favorite novels The Great Gatsby as well as the upcoming remake of Carrie starring the always creepy Chloe Moretz. Check both trailers out below!
