Another week, another round of movie news tidbits. You missed them, you say? Well, you're in luck. The Final Cut has you covered.
Man of Steel Details
Entertainment Weekly's new issue, hitting shelves today, features Man of Steel's Superman Henry Cavill on the cover. From the issues pages, many details and nuggets have been shared online about the film as well as some awesome new images. We know some people hate spoilers and, even though these are minor, they are still spoilers. So Click Here to let Kryptonsite.com tell you what's up.
Justice League On The Horizon?
As usual, anytime anything official is said about the upcoming Superman reboot, the conversation inevitably turns to the possibility of a Justice League film in the future. The aforementioned Entertainment Weekly article was no different. This time, however, instead of dodging the question completely, Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov did some pretty heavy hinting. He told EW that Man of Steel is "definitely a first step". When asked about whether there are Easter eggs or references to other heroes or characters in the DC Universe contained inside Man of Steel, Robinov suggested that fans should "keep a beady eye out and find what they can find." Hmm. Sounds pretty interesting to me! Robinov also said they would be making an announcement soon about further DC movies. So if you wanna keep up with that, keep up with the Final Cut!
One More Remake You Didn't Want - Point Break
Remember that Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze surfing movie from 1991? I bet you were just thinking to yourself that they should remake that, right? Well wish: GRANTED! Ericson Core, the director of 2006's Invincible with Mark Wahlberg, will be directing the remake which apparently may not be about surfing, but instead the description just mentions "international extreme sports". Whatever that means. We can only hope for a Keanu-Cameo! (Sarcasm)
