Hello everyone! As you all know I'm a pretty big fan of Superman and his most recent big screen iteration, Man of Steel. So obviously I'm intrigued about today's event.
Over on Yahoo movies, stars Henry Cavill (Superman) and Amy Adams (Lois Lane) will join director Zack Snyder and host Kevin Smith for a live Q&A show in celebration of Man of Steel being released on DVD. The show will air today, November 9th, at 12:00 PM noon Eastern Time, 9:00 AM Pacific Time. Follow this link to check it out!
While most of the even will probably be friendly questions about Man of Steel's production, we all know conversation HAS to eventually turn to the upcoming sequel which will feature both Superman and Batman. Kevin Smith has seemingly confirmed that some news may be released, saying the following on his podcast:
"They're doing a special on Yahoo that I'm hosting, Zack Snyder is the featured guest, but it's all about Man of Steel. So it's me, Zack Snyder, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill is on video from London or he may even be on set with us, and then there's some Michael Shannon stuff. So it's an hour long, it's free, it's on the internet, but it's just kind of to be like 'Hey, Man of Steel is coming out!' But there's two things, there might be announcements during this show and the one thing I do know is there's artwork going to be on this show that may or may not have something to do with a movie that's coming up."
What artwork relating to Batman/Superman could this be and what sort of announcements might be made? Maybe a casting announcement for the rumored villain to be featured, Lex Luthor? Let's all tune in to find out!
