We know Superman and Batman will meet on screen in 2015, but fans have long asked why DC's other heavy hitter and the third member of the Trinity, Wonder Woman, has not been given her day in the cinematic sun. The answer, it seems, is that no one really wants to take a chance with a female superhero.
